Long Sutton businesses get a refreshed workspace
Lincolnshire County Council has completed improvement works at Hoddins Way Business Park in Long Sutton, refreshing the appearance, lighting and access at the fully occupied site.
The seven earth-sheltered business units are used by small businesses serving the local community. The council said the work supports its wider aim of providing high-quality, flexible commercial workspace for businesses starting, growing and remaining in Lincolnshire.
Works completed at Hoddins Way Business Park
The programme included refurbishment of the units’ external lime render and repainting. Site lighting and facilities were also upgraded, while the approach to the main car park was resurfaced to improve access.
The business park includes tenant and visitor parking, underfloor heating and solar panels. It is currently home to Al’s Barbershop, Dollywood Hair & Beauty, House of ENB, Jello Nails, Beauty & Holistics, Razzle Dazzle Vintage Shop, The Independent Vet Clinic Ltd, Unicorn Diner and Simon Wright.
Seven units supporting local enterprises
Simon Wright, Lincolnshire County Council’s Regeneration and Portfolio Manager, said the site offers flexible workspace with easy in-and-out arrangements for businesses.
He said the improvements were intended to enhance both the appearance and functionality of the site, while helping tenants and customers benefit from the facilities for years to come. He also thanked tenants for their patience during the disruption caused by the works.
Hoddins Way Business Park forms part of the county council’s commercial property portfolio. The portfolio provides affordable, flexible accommodation in locations where there are gaps in the private market, supporting small and medium-sized businesses and local job creation.
