Ealing residents can pick the borough’s summer winner
Ealing residents can now help choose which photograph reaches the final stage of the Seasons of Ealing summer photo competition. Public voting is open for a shortlist celebrating summer across the London Borough of Ealing.

Summer scenes from Ealing’s seven towns
The shortlisted photographs feature colourful flowers, local wildlife and memorable moments captured around the borough. Together, they offer a varied picture of the colours, character and atmosphere found across Ealing’s seven towns during summer.

The shortlist was selected after organisers reviewed the competition entries. Residents can now view the chosen images and support the photograph they believe best represents summer in the borough.
How to cast your vote
Visit Ealing Council’s online voting page and open the gallery of shortlisted photographs. After reviewing the images, select your favourite and submit your vote through the page.

The council’s announcement does not give a closing date for voting. Residents planning to take part should therefore check the voting page while the public ballot remains available.
Three public favourites will reach the final
The public vote determines which entries progress, but it does not directly decide the overall winner. The three photographs receiving the most votes will advance to the final stage, where a judging panel will select the winning image.

The result will be published in the autumn edition of Around Ealing magazine, due out in September. That edition will also provide the rules and entry details for the next seasonal competition, which welcomes photographs taken with either dedicated cameras or mobile phones.
