The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking relatives or friends of Kenneth Costello, 71, who lived in the Parkfield area of Wolverhampton, following his recent death.

The council’s Court of Protection Team has issued the appeal so that funeral arrangements can proceed while giving people who knew Mr Costello the opportunity to be notified and, if they wish, become involved.

The appeal was released by the council on Thursday, 13 August 2026. It asks anyone with information that could help identify or contact Mr Costello’s relatives to get in touch with the named officer.

Funeral arrangements and the council’s appeal

The council said it makes appeals of this nature because families and acquaintances of a person who has died should be told about the death and offered the chance to take part in funeral arrangements if they wish.

For readers who may have known Mr Costello through Parkfield, the practical next step is to pass relevant information directly to the council using the contacts above. The notice does not set out a deadline or give details of funeral arrangements, so the council’s request remains focused on tracing relatives and friends before those arrangements are made.
