The Metropolitan Police is offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information that helps officers trace Jordan Asije, 22, during the investigation into the killing of Finbar Sullivan in Primrose Hill, London.

Police have released an image of Asije, who is known to frequent north London, and are appealing directly for him to hand himself in. Officers say he is not believed to pose a wider threat to the public, but people must not approach him.

Anyone who sees Asije should call 999 immediately. Information about his whereabouts can be reported on 101 by quoting CAD 6448/07APR26 or uploaded through the Metropolitan Police major incident portal.

Detectives described Asije as someone they urgently want to trace as their inquiries continue. The police statement identifies him by name and age but does not provide a further physical description alongside its reference to the released image.

Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, who is leading the investigation, appealed for even seemingly minor information. He said details that appear insignificant to a member of the public could prove vital to investigators.

Griffin also addressed Asije directly, urging him to attend the nearest police station. Police warned that anyone knowingly helping him evade arrest or harbouring him may be committing an offence and could be investigated.

The announcement does not explain the reward’s payment or assessment process beyond stating that up to £20,000 is available to encourage information that helps police trace everyone they believe was involved.

Four men charged as the investigation continues

Police said an extensive investigation has been under way since Finbar Sullivan’s death. Three men have been charged with murder, while a fourth has been charged with grievous bodily harm. All four have been remanded in custody.

Those charges form part of an active criminal case. The latest appeal concerns the effort to locate Asije and should not be read as establishing guilt; the Metropolitan Police statement describes him as a person officers urgently wish to trace.

Griffin said detectives had made significant progress in understanding the events leading to Sullivan’s death but that inquiries remained ongoing. His thoughts, he added, remained with Sullivan’s family following their loss.

Fatal incident at the Primrose Hill viewpoint

Finbar Sullivan, 21, was killed on Tuesday, 7 April 2026. Police were called at 18:41 to reports of a fight at the viewpoint in Primrose Hill.

Officers and London Ambulance Service paramedics found Sullivan fatally injured. Emergency responders treated him, but he died at the scene. His next of kin continue to receive support from specialist officers.

Another man in his 20s was also injured. Police said those injuries were neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

The immediate instruction remains clear: do not approach Asije if he is seen. Call 999 for a sighting, or provide other information through 101 using reference CAD 6448/07APR26.
