Police release images after violence at Arsenal victory parade

The Metropolitan Police have released images of men they want to identify following several reported assaults and incidents of anti-social behaviour during the Arsenal victory parade in Islington on Sunday, 31 May.

Anyone who recognises a person pictured, or who has information that could assist the investigation, should call 101 and quote reference 7135/25Jul. Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The appeal was published by Metropolitan Police News on 4 August 2026. Police said the individual incidents under investigation are not believed to be connected.

Investigation into parade-day violence

Thousands of supporters attended the parade, with more than 500 police officers deployed across the event. Specialist search and drone teams were also involved in the operation.

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Coster, from the Metropolitan Police Service, said the presence of officers helped the vast majority of supporters enjoy the celebrations safely. However, police recorded disorder, anti-social behaviour and violent incidents involving a small number of people.

Officers have made 29 arrests in connection with criminality on the day, including several stabbings and assaults. Twelve of those arrested have since been charged with offences including attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, assault on an emergency worker and sexual assault.

The arrest and charge figures relate to criminality reported across the parade day. The newly released images form part of continuing enquiries to identify men police wish to speak to about four specific incidents.

Incidents covered by the image appeal

Police have linked the released images to the following reports:

Image A — Upper Street: Police received a report of a racially aggravated assault against a woman at around 14:30.
Image B — Caledonian Road: Officers responded to a report of a person damaging a car at 15:15.
Image C — Highbury Crescent: A woman was assaulted at 16:30.
Images D to I — The Kings Head, Upper Street: Officers responded to reports of an assault at about 22:31. Two men sustained serious injuries.

Detectives have stressed that these incidents are separate and are not thought to be connected. The image labels distinguish which pictures relate to each report and may help witnesses identify the relevant incident when contacting officers.

Police have described the people pictured as individuals they want to identify and speak to as part of their enquiries. The appeal does not state that every person shown has been arrested, charged or found responsible for an offence.

How the public can assist

People who attended the parade, were in the named locations at the relevant times, or recognise any of the men pictured are being asked to contact police. Callers should provide the reference 7135/25Jul so that their information can be directed to the correct investigation.

Those who do not want to give their identity to police can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Detectives are continuing to review evidence and carry out enquiries aimed at identifying those responsible for the reported violence and disorder.
