Milton Keynes Comedy Festival brings four days of laughs

Milton Keynes Comedy Festival will take over venues across Milton Keynes City Centre from Thursday 9 July to Sunday 12 July 2026, with stand-up, dining shows, family-friendly comedy and late-weekend sets spread across several locations.

The festival is brought to the city by MyMiltonKeynes BID and The Comedy Cow. Events start at 8pm on the Thursday and run through to a 7.30pm show on the Sunday. Prices vary by event, from £7 to £69.95, with booking listed as open.

For anyone planning a summer weekend in the centre, the programme offers both big-name evening line-ups and shorter daytime shows at venues including Hotel La Tour, MERKUR Casino, Midsummer Tap, MK Gallery, Blossom Room, Revs de Cuba and The Residence.

Four days across central Milton Keynes

The opening night is at Hotel La Tour on Thursday 9 July at 8pm. The launch of MK Festival is priced at £32 and features Matt Richardson, Sarah Pascoe, Simon Brodkin and Joe Pasquale.

Friday’s main event is Friday Night, Best of the Fest at MERKUR Casino, also at 8pm. Tickets are listed at £25, with Steve Bugeja, Eshaan Akbar, Janine Harouni and Ria Lina on the bill.

Saturday brings a packed daytime and evening schedule, with shows beginning at 12.30pm. The Noise Next Door appears at Midsummer Tap, while Ed Byrne performs at MK Gallery. Later slots include Hal Cruttenden, John Robertson’s Dark Room Comedy, Darren Harriot, CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation, Lost Voice Guy, Glenn Moore, Felicity Ward, Spencer Jones and Mark Row.

Saturday Night – Best of the Fest closes the day at MK Gallery at 7pm, priced at £25. That line-up includes Olivia Lee, Paul Tonkinson, Ninia Benjamin and Rhys James.

Sunday mixes brunch, dining and stand-up

Sunday 12 July starts with two 1pm events: Bottomless Brunch Comedy at Blossom Room, priced at £45, with John Pearson and Aurie Styla, and the Faulty Towers Dining Experience at MK Gallery, priced at £69.95.

Comedy continues through the afternoon with Tez Ilyas at Revs de Cuba, MK Theatre of Comedy: Puddleford Podcast at The Residence, Brennan Reece at Revs de Cuba, Sophie Duker at MK Gallery and Jo Caulfield at Revs de Cuba.

The Faulty Towers Dining Experience also has a 6pm sitting at MK Gallery. The final listed event is MK Theatre of Comedy: Whose Turn? at The Residence at 7.30pm, priced at £8.

Prices, venues and who it suits

The festival is built for several kinds of audience rather than one single night out. There are evening showcase bills for people who want a fuller line-up, daytime slots for shorter visits, dining-led comedy for those making a meal of the event, and family fun is included in the festival’s own description.
