Buckinghamshire residents, carers and adult service providers will need to use Joy Marketplace from 1 July 2026, when it replaces Bucks Online Directory as the main local place to find adult services, groups, organisations and community activities.

The change affects anyone who uses the directory to look for support in Buckinghamshire, as well as organisations that currently promote their service or group through Bucks Online Directory.

Joy Marketplace takes over from 1 July

Joy Marketplace will become the main directory for adult support and community activity across Buckinghamshire from 1 July. The council says it will be the new place for local people to find services in one place, including groups, organisations and activities aimed at adults.

For residents and carers, the practical change is the name and platform used to search for local support. For providers, the key point is more active: existing listings on Bucks Online Directory will not be enough to keep publicising a service after the switch.
