Lexus Junior Nationals in Nottingham: dates and streams
The 14U, 12U & 11U Lexus Junior National Championships 2026 run from 15 to 23 August at the Lexus Nottingham Tennis Centre. The tournament brings leading junior players from across Great Britain to Nottingham for national singles and doubles titles, while spectators can follow selected courts online through the LTA’s live coverage.
Planning note: The LTA has confirmed the dates and venue but has not published spectator prices, booking requirements, daily start times, transport guidance or accessibility information in its event preview. Families and other spectators considering a visit should bear that gap in mind when making plans.
Eight draws spread across nine days
The age categories follow separate schedules, so the best date to follow the competition depends on the draw. The 11U singles and 14U boys’ singles begin first, while the final scheduled day belongs to the 12U events.

| Competition | Confirmed dates |
|---|---|
| 11U singles | 15–20 August |
| 11U doubles | 17–20 August |
| 12U singles | 18–23 August |
| 12U doubles | 20–23 August |
| 14U boys’ singles | 15–19 August |
| 14U boys’ doubles | 16–19 August |
| 14U girls’ singles | 17–21 August |
| 14U girls’ doubles | 18–21 August |
Each age group has both singles and doubles competition. The staggered programme means several draws overlap, particularly between 18 and 20 August, before the 12U singles and doubles close the championships on 23 August.
Knockout and round-robin routes lead to the titles
The route through the tournament changes with age. The 14U main draws are determined by player rankings and use a straight knockout format. Players defeated in the opening round move into a consolation draw, giving them another competitive opportunity in Nottingham.

The 11U and 12U singles begin with round-robin qualifying groups. The top two players from each group progress to a 16-player elimination draw, where a defeat ends the main-title challenge.
According to the LTA, many competitors on the entry list receive support from Regional Player Development Centres. These centres form part of the National Performance stage of British tennis’s player pathway, with a focus on helping promising 14U players move towards international junior competition.

Electronic Line Calling is also being used at the championships. Readers interested in the court system can find more detail in this guide to line-call technology at the Nottingham junior nationals.
The championships have previously featured players who later became established names in British tennis. Past winners listed by the LTA include Kyle Edmund, the 2009 14U boys’ singles champion, and Heather Watson, who won the 14U girls’ singles in 2006. Jack Draper won the 12U boys’ doubles in 2013 and the 14U boys’ doubles in 2015.
Five live feeds cover the Nottingham courts
Live streams are available through the LTA website during the competition. Its event coverage lists five feeds: the Show Court and Courts 1, 2, 5 and 6.
Draws and live scores are also published through the LTA’s championship coverage. Because the competitions start and finish on different dates, readers following a particular player or age category should match the draw with the schedule above before choosing a stream. The latest court coverage, results and progression through each draw remain available from the LTA event page during the championships.
