Leeds City Council said a specially created outdoor arena has been set up on Millennium Square, with the stage positioned against the backdrop of Leeds Civic Hall.
Phone bookings are available Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. In-person sales at Carriageworks Theatre are available when the venue is open two hours before performances there.
Opening weekend brings Ibiza, 80s hits and film music
The Summer Series begins on Friday, June 26 with Club Classical Ibiza. The show pairs dance music classics with live orchestral performance, curated by Utah Saints and performed with the Orchestra of Opera North and special guests.
On Saturday, June 27, 80s Classical brings the Orchestra of Opera North back to Millennium Square with Bananarama, Nik Kershaw, Johnny Hates Jazz and Nick Heyward listed for the nostalgia-led concert.
The opening weekend ends on Sunday, June 28 with Classics in the Square, a pay-what-you-can event featuring classical music and familiar pieces from Jurassic Park, Star Wars, The Sound of Music and Carmen.
The wider line-up covers country, indie and pop
Across the following weeks, Millennium Square will host concerts as part of the Sounds Of The City series. The listed performers include Dylan Gossett, Alabama Shakes, Tom Odell, Wet Leg, The Human League and The Cribs, all performing alongside special guests.
The programme spans indie, alternative, country, pop, orchestral and dance, giving the Summer Series a broader spread than a single-genre festival. Its city-centre setting also means the event is positioned as a run of separate concert nights rather than one continuous camping-style festival.

Leeds City Council says the venue is fully accessible. Listed facilities include a raised viewing platform, accessible toilet facilities and Mobile Changing Places.
