Free Bon Jovi pre- and afterparty in Edinburgh, 28 August

Crowd of fans cheering at a lively concert venue under bright stage lighting.

Bon Jovi fans heading to Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium can begin and end their concert day at a free unofficial gathering in Edinburgh on 28 August 2026. The Unofficial Bon Jovi Preparty & Afterparty runs from 11am until 1am at Malones Edinburgh, 242 Morrison Street, with no ticket required.

The event is aimed at concertgoers and other Bon Jovi fans. Under-18 access ends at 8pm and requires an accompanying adult, while the afterparty is open only to people aged 18 and over. Forever Edinburgh Events lists the gathering as unofficial and not affiliated with Bon Jovi.

Free entry from 11am at Malones Edinburgh

Both parts of the event are free to enter. Visitors do not need to book or hold a separate party ticket, making Malones a possible meeting point before travelling to Murrayfield and a late-night stop after the concert.

The venue is in Edinburgh’s West End. Its listed facilities include Wi-Fi, and pets are welcome, although the event information does not provide any additional conditions for bringing animals.

Classic hits and street-food-style pub grub

Performers will play classic hits during the party, but the listing does not name the acts or provide individual set times. The music is paired with food and drink at the pub rather than a separately ticketed performance programme.

Pub grub will be served street-food style until 9pm. That food-service cut-off comes four hours before the listed 1am finish, so anyone planning to eat at Malones should arrive before 9pm.

A 20-minute walk from Murrayfield Stadium

Malones Edinburgh is described as being around a 20-minute walk from Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium. It is also close to the Edinburgh Trams West End stop, giving concertgoers a nearby public-transport reference point without changing venues between the preparty and afterparty.

The venue lists level access to its main entrance and bar. It also describes wheelchair access as partial and says the premises are only partially suitable for visitors with limited mobility.

The age restriction changes at 8pm

Under-18s may attend the preparty only until 8pm and must remain with an accompanying adult. The afterparty is restricted to those aged 18 and over, while the free-entry and no-ticket arrangements apply to both parts of the event.
