Darley Park Weekender in Derby: £8 Sunday tickets and line-up
Darley Park Weekender 2026 will bring three days of pop, orchestral music and family entertainment to Darley Park in Derby from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August. Sunday advance tickets start at £8 for adults and £5 for under-16s, while Friday and Saturday cost £47 for adults and £22 for under-18s in advance. The programme is open to all ages, but under-18s must attend with an adult.
The festival is staged by Derby LIVE, Derby City Council’s arts and events team. Tickets remain available through Derby LIVE, although the VIP allocation for Billy Ocean’s Friday show has sold out.
Billy Ocean, JLS and Sinfonia Viva lead the programme
Billy Ocean headlines on Friday 21 August, supported by Marti Pellow and Katrina, formerly of Katrina and The Waves. Local performers Cassette Roulette and DJ Mark Angels open the evening, with BBC Radio Derby presenter Ian Skye hosting.
Saturday 22 August is led by JLS. The bill also includes Appleton, Chesney Hawkes, DJ Mark Angels, Cassette Roulette and Derby band The Public Eye, while Becky Measures hosts the programme.
The weekend changes pace on Sunday 23 August with the Darley Park Concert. Orchestra Sinfonia Viva will perform movie soundtrack themes under conductor Stephen Bell, joined by soloist Juliette Crosbie. Vocalist Red, the Derby Harp Ensemble and the Well-being Choir of the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton are also scheduled to appear.
No single start time is given in the council notice. Derby LIVE lists the running order and timings on the individual event pages.

Advance prices range from £5 to £77
Friday and Saturday advance tickets cost £47 per adult and £22 for under-18s, with free entry for under-fives. Booking both nights together carries a £10 saving. Adult tickets bought on the day rise to £50.
Saturday VIP tickets for JLS cost £77 and include fast-track entry plus access to an area with its own bar, toilets and a view of the main stage. Billy Ocean VIP tickets are sold out.
For Sunday’s concert, advance admission is £8 for adults and £5 for under-16s. On-the-day prices rise to £11 and £6 respectively. Sunday VIP tickets cost £30 and include the same dedicated facilities and fast-track entry.
Free carer and under-five tickets are still required for admission where applicable. All ticket types and booking availability should be checked through Derby LIVE before travelling.
Lower-level pyrotechnics will close Sunday’s concert
The traditional Sunday finale will use low-level theatrical pyrotechnics following warnings about wildfire risk during the recent hot, dry weather. Derby City Council developed the adjusted format with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Derbyshire Safety Advisory Group to reduce the danger of material igniting dry ground when it lands.

The site will also have designated smoking areas, enhanced fire-safety measures and wider safety perimeters around the stage. Security checks will operate across the weekend, with limits on the bags and other items visitors can bring inside.
Limited parking makes public transport the practical option
On-site parking at Darley Park is extremely limited. Visitors are being encouraged to walk, use public transport or use the dedicated drop-off point at Parkers Piece. Pre-bookable Blue Badge parking is available on a first-come basis.
Accessible facilities include dedicated entrances, viewing areas, BSL interpretation, a hearing-loop system and a Mobiloo mobile Changing Places facility. Derby LIVE provides the full access guidance and site map.
Outside food is permitted within the approved bag limits. Visitors cannot bring alcohol into the Friday or Saturday events, while only a limited amount is permitted at Sunday’s Darley Park Concert.
On-site traders will serve hot dogs, Greek gyros, Sri Lankan street food, wood-fired pizzas, crepes, cakes, coffee and ice cream. Bars will sell lager, beer, spirits and wine. Visitors should check Derby LIVE for tickets, event timings, bag restrictions and the complete venue and safety guidance before setting out.
